Recognizing International Women's Day and Celebrating Our Female Colleagues!

"I'm just wondering, you are only guys, how is the culture and do you have any plans to recruit more women?"
This was the response from one candidate we had in the early days of Dyve. Being only men doesn't look good, especially from an employer branding perspective. But more importantly, it isn't good either. Not for our culture, not for our clients, not for the fun at the workplace, and not for our bottom line.
Our two founders were men. So, from the get-go, we were off to a bad start. However, we have always strived to even this out.
2021 – 0 of 2 employees were women - A challenging start.
2022 – 0 of 4 employees were women - A continued struggle.
2023 – 2 of 8 employees were women - Key milestones reached.
2024 – 4 of 16 employees are women, with an objective to reach 35% women by year's end.
Long-term ambition: 50/50.
Today, we recognize International Women's Day and especially celebrate the brave women who joined Dyve early on. Johanna, Rebecca, and Olivia (and one signed but yet to start) – you are role models, competent, team players, great problem solvers, and a lot of fun to be around! We are happy we have you!
What are we doing to reach 50/50? A flexible work environment, top-up parental leave pay, an inclusive culture, involvement in women's networks, reworking our website, and clear targets.
